Classification at Pit Stop No 10 (Hungary)

1st - Adrian & Collin (Singapore) - left previous pit stop at 11.44pm
2nd - Marc & Rovilson (Phillipines) - left previous pit stop at 11.58pm
3rd -Pam & Vanessa (Malaysia) - left previous pitstop at 12.33am
4th - Ann & Diane (Malaysia) - left previous pitstop at 12.37am
5th - Paula & Natasha (Thailand) (non-eliminated round) - left previous pitstop at 5.05am

All teams now were headed to Budapest, Hungary by train. They discovered that the earliest train to Budapest was at 7.30am which is a direct service. Adrian & Collin were on the other hand, check the schedule online and then discovered that, they are one train leave at 5am but headed to Vienna first then Budapest. This will gave them one and half hour jumpstart ahead of other team.

Once arrived at Budapest, Adrian & Collin managed to get the next clue first uncontested. They now have to find way to Batthyany Square for the next clue. From there, they need to self drive to Magyar Farm using a marked car. Paula and Vanessa were having problem since they were not used to drive a manual car.

At Magyar Farm, teams must choose between Pitch or Pull for their Detour. In Pitch, teams must load a donkey cart full of hay using a pitch fork. They must then deliver it to a farmer for their next clue. In Pull, teams must pick a goat and milk 200ml of fresh milk from it, before receiving their next clue.

Once they completed their tasks, a RoadBlock was waiting for them. Teams need to go to Fun Extreme Canopy Park. One team member have to do Flying Fox that have been divided into sections. At each section, they was a number they need to memorize and sum up at the end. A correct sum is 1000 and teams with correct number will be given the next clue.

All teams except Marc & Rovilson, did their RoadBlock task twice. This gave them a chance to catch up. Their next clue was to drive to Hercules Fountain where they can get their next clue.

Once they located the Hercules Fountain and received the next clue, now it’s time to race to the pitstop. They must park their car at the marked area at the pitstop. This confused a lot of the teams, but Adrian & Collin managed the get in first for the first time.

As for the winner of this leg, Adrian & Collin won a Nokia N95 and Nokia N73 each.

Hari ini berkesempatan menjengah TGV di Bkt Raja untuk menonton filem Cloverfield. Filem ini telah dihebohkan pemasaran semenjak 6 bulan yg lalu di Internet. Pelbagai website dibangunkan khas untuk filem ini, antaranya 1-18-08news.com

Pelbagai perkara yg digembar-gemburkan, tetapi yang paling menarik perhatian ialah rupa bentuk monster itu sendiri. Adakah ia makhluk laut dalam, makhluk dr angkasa lepas dan sebagainya.

Filem ini bolehla dihasilkan dari idea filem “Blair Witch Project” dan juga “Godzilla” iaitu filem dihasilkan dari camcorder dan mengenai makhluk yg ganas.

Filem ini dari awal hingga akhir dirakam menggunakan camcorder. Jadi kepada sesapa yg tak tahan goyang2, pening2, filem ini bukan utk anda.

Secara ringkasnya Cloverfield bermula dari sekumpulan rakan meraikan Rob yg akan berpindah ke Jepun kerana tugas. Hud, rakan Rob, diminta oleh Jason(abg Rob) utk merakamkan testimonial semua pengunjung parti utk Rob. Antara yg memberi testi ialah Marlena, Lily(gf Jason), Beth dan Jason.

Tiba2 dikejutkan dgn gegaran dan bunyi ngauman yg menakutkan, disusuli letupan dan serpihan kepala Patung Statue of Liberty berterbangan ke jalan raya. Ini telah menimbulkan suasana panik. Mereka akhirnya dikerah untuk meninggalkan bandar NY tetapi Rob dikejutkan dgn panggilan telefon dr Beth yg mengatakan dia telah cedera parah dn terperangkap di apartmentnya.

Apa yg Rob buat selepas itu?? Kalo nak tau, tgk la kat wayang…

Apa yg ditekankan dlm filem ini, bukanlah rupa makhluk itu, tapi lebih kepada perspektif sekumpulan manusia berhadapan dgn situasi mencemaskan itu. Elemen cinta juga diselitkan di mana Rob sanggup menggadai nyawa utk menyelamatkan Beth walaupun ditegah oleh pihak tentera dan kwn2nya.

Elemen pertempuran juga begitu hebat, anda seakan berada betul2 di medan peperangan itu kerana ianya dirakamkan menggunakan camcorder. Makhluk nya pulak, agak hodoh, besar, dan bukan hanya 1, tapi ada lagi makhluk kecik2 berupa labah-labah. Walaupun dh dibom bnyk kali, makhluk tersebut masih macho berdiri…

Apa yg anda perlu perhatikan betul2 ialah di penghujung filem tersebut, di mana Beth dan Rob berada di taman tema. Jika anda perhatikan betul2, terdapat “sesuatu” yg menjunam ke laut. Benda inila yg buat havoc di NY keesokkan harinya. Berkemungkinan besar makhluk ini dari planet lain, bukan dr bumi.

Kesimpulannya, ending yg agak tergantung dan lemah, di mana bukan semua yg akan ‘live happily ever after‘. Di hujung filem, ramai penonton berkata “Aaaahhh….”, “Oooohhhh…”. dan ada yg terpinga2. Mungkin dorang expect lebih lagi atau tak paham, tapi bagi aku, aku dh expect filem ni, ending dia memang mcm tu. Berkemungkinan akan ada sequel utk filem ini di masa akan dtg utk merungkaikan misteri makhluk tersebut.

Rating yg aku bagi, 7/10. Lain org lain pandangan dan citarasa, tak terkejut jika ada yg tak suka langsung filem ni.

Bagi sesapa yg tak kenal dia ni, dia ni pelakon cerita Anak Pontianak di TV3 tu. Baru-baru ni keluar paper yg gambar panas beliau tersebar di internet. Ya, tidak syak lagi, memang telah tersebar dan tak syak lagi memang dia lah yg dlm gambar-gambar tu.

p/s: Muka dia ni takla lawa mana, bakat lakonan pun takla bagus sgt. Perangai mcm anak pontianak, memang sesuai sangat la pun, hehe..

4th - Pam & Vanessa (Malaysia) - left previous pitstop at 4.17am
5th - Paula & Natasha (Thailand) - left previous pitstop at 3.10am
6th - Henry & Terry (Phillipines) (eliminated) - left previous pitstop at 10.35am

For the 8th consecutive leg, Marc & Rovilson ended up first and for the 3rd time in a row Henry & Terry were the last team to arrive.

All teams headed to Petrin Hill in which they had to count the stairs at the Observation Tower. Teams with the correct answer will received the next clue. Adrian & Collin were the first team to arrive and completed the task.

Once completed, they went to Strecky Island. The task here was to row and navigate a boat with a guidance of a compass given. Here, Adrian & Collin had difficulties in rowing the boat thus allowing Marc & Rovilson and Pam & Vanessa to catch up.

Still Adrian & Collin managed completed it first and headed to Prague Castle in which the first Intersection of the race was waiting. In Intersection, teams must pair up with other team to complete the task until they have been instructed to split.

Adrian & Collin chose to pair with Marc & Rovilson. Pam & Vanessa were the 3rd team to arrive and decided to pair up with the moms, Ann & Diane. Unlucky for Paula & Natasha, who arrived 4th here had to wait for Henry & Terry. Henry & Terry at that time were just departing for the race. So Paula & Natasha had to wait for 5 hours.

The next task was to shoot goals at the Ice Hockey Arena then Detour came up. n this Detour, teams had to choose between Snap or Roll. In Snap teams must take a photograph of three historic monuments in Prague and bring them to the statue of Josef Manes for verification. In roll, teams must collect two 50 liter beer kegs and deliver them to the Admiral Boatel for their next clue.

Next, they were now have been released from the Intersection and now headed to swimming pool. A RoadBlock was waiting for them here. One team member must take a jump to the pool from 10 meter platform foot first.

All teams successfully completed this task without a breeze, except Pam & Vanessa. Vanessa was confused, experienced a temporary memory lost and her lips were bleeding. Might be the effect of the jump (concussion).

Now, it was a race to the pitstop in which Marc & Rovilson came in first, and Henry & Terry came in last and have been eliminated.

As for the winner of this leg, Marc & Rovilson won a Sony Handycam SR7 each.

p/s: Sad to see Vanessa in that situation. I hope she is ok. Thank God, the annoying couple has been eliminated… Now there are only 5 teams left.
