Post ni ialah lanjutan dr post MCAD Trainer Sacked sebelum ini. Tak sangka ianya mendapat perhatian En Ahmad Rais iaitu Penyelaras Utama 3P dan merangkap Pegawai Pembangunan Pelajar NR, UiTM Shah Alam.

Berikut ialah petikan dari komen beliau melalui email:

“Saya setuju dengan kamu, cara trainer tu mengajar tak sesuai dalam konteks mahasiswa. Apa pun si trainer tu telah ditukar, setidak-tidaknya menjadi pengajaran kepada trainer2 lain supaya mengajar lebih berhikmah dan mendidik dengan penuh kasih sayang.”

Ya, trainer telah ditukar. Kali ni trainer dari Indonesia ini lebih bersopan dan berhemah. Lagipun loghat Indonesia ni kadang2 sedap didengar macam menonton telenovela di tv atau mendengar ceramah2 agama,

Kesimpulannya, kpd komuniti para pendidik, tak kirala guru sekolah, pensyarah, tutor, trainer, mengajarlah dgn penuh berhemah sesuai dgn status anda yg berilmu tinggi.

Today I have been approached by a lecturer from FTMSK regarding her PhD thesis. One of my SIG during the final year project exhibition recommended me to her, so she contacted me.

She’s doing about Cultural Tourism and has asked for my help developing a simple geocoding functionality and also an interactive map. Not help actually, she wants to pay me! The dateline is 1st of July.

What about the price? Hmm, let see. The price must reflect the time constraint, the scope, the technology used and not to forget my fee, hehe! Somewhere around 3 digits only,

The project looks simple, but the hardest part is the GeoCoding, especially for Malaysian street address. There are a lot of web services, web applications out there that served Geocoding for free, but none covers Malaysian street address. Not even Google GeoCoding service or Yahoo! Kalau ada pun, kena beli database dia dgn harga yg mahal.

Kalau nak buat sendiri database Geocode ni ambek masa yg lama, gerenti tak sempat. Lagipun nak buat utk 1 Malaysia ni, banyak tu! Nak buat utk Shah Alam aje pun dh banyak.

As a conclusion, I’ll try to find any free web services dlm 2,3 hari ni. Kalau tak dapat, I will propose an alternative solution to her that mimics the geocoding functionality.

Due to unpopular decision and unorthodox teaching approach, my MCAD trainer has been sacked by 3p management team after just 2 days of work. Yes, after only 2 days!

Even though she has broad experience on subject matter and countless professional certificate on her belt, many students in my class disliked her, including me. I don’t have anything personal against her, it’s just that her teaching method was quite annoying and inappropriate for Microsoft professional certification course. If this is kindergarden or primary school, it can be accepted, but this is for Microsoft course man!

Why she got kicked out? Here is the story…

From the start, she has showed her control over the class. With the strict attitude like in army training camp, not so smiley face, and annoying loud voice sometimes, she continually asked questions inappropriately.

Ada ke tanya soklan utk setiap line yg ada dekat slide tu? Bilanya nak abes mcm tu? Lainla subject tu dah belajar sebelum ni, that’s fine. Tapi ni benda baru. How do you expect us to answer all those annoying questions if we had no clue about the subject?? And she demanded answers for all those questions.

Mana yg kami boleh jawap, kami jawap. Sampai la satu masa tu kami memang tak dapat jawap and the whole class just kept quiet.

Tak tau la apa yg merasuk jiwa dia ni, suruh kami semua berdiri untill all of us answers the question. She gave the reason as to make our brains working. Whaatt the hell was this women thinking??

Lama jugak kami berdiri, dan one of classmate dah start menangis disebabkan keadaan itu dan lab assistant ni nampak apa yg berlaku. Mane tak nye, semuanya berdiri and sampai nangis ni pe cer??

So, next morning(today), the trainer said.”Today is my last day bla, bla….. because of yesterday incident. One of the staff complained to the management about it“. “Good then, xpayah la aku p komplen“, kata hati aku.

Xlama pastu, masukla 3p Operation Leader tnya kami apa yg berlaku and our opinion about it. Ape lagi, aku bgtau la apa yg terbuku dihati ni and she said, “Tindakan akan diambil and kami akan ganti trainer yg baru“.

Begitula citanya. Pd pendapat aku, memang niat dia baik, nak mengaja, tapi biarla bersesuaian dgn keadaan sekeliling dan siapa audience dia. Kelemahannya dia ialah kurangnya interpersonal skills. Nak strict n garang boleh, tapi kenala pandai mixed dgn joke n student friendly, supaya org boleh respect. Ni 24 jam mcm tu je, sapa bleh tahan.

Nasibla 2 hari je, kalo seminggu, xtaula mcm mana.

Jam menunjukkan pukul 6.10 ptg, baru je dok relek dpn pc, penat training MCAD le katakan, tiba2 masuk la si roomate aku, Fizi, “Oit, minyak nk naik esk!”

Aku kata,”Aaa, betui ke?”, maklumla ptg tu aku tak tgk tv. So aku bukak la Utusan Online, sah, “Petrol naik 78 sen…”

Minyak keta penuh lagi, baru je 40km pakai, tapi kena isi gak ni. Nak kua, hujan la plak, takpela malam kang bleh isi lagi, awal lagi ni.

Pastu si dd sms aku, “sok myak naik harga,jd rm2.70″. Tq dd, aku tak dpt reply, kedit abes, hehe.

Tibanya waktu malam, aku pun gerak la p petronas unisel seksyen 7. Walaweehhh!!Banyak nye umat manusia nak isi minyak, pjg plak queue nya.

Takpe, try p seksyen 6 plak. Sampai depan jalan ke rumah menteri besar tu, keta dh beratur dah nak masuk ke simpang seksyen 6 tu. Damn!! Yg ni lagi pjg.

Takpe, try p petronas federal highway plaks. Masuk je highway, dh nmpak pesta lampu brek..

Hmm, tak jadi la aku nak isi. Buang masa n minyak jek. Lagipun penuh lagi, heheeh! Tak expect plak beratur pjg, dulu skali minyak naik, tak plak ramai beratur cenggini.

Nmpak gayenyer, kena review balik bajet bulan nih, Bajet minyak naik 40%, bajet utk lain2 akan turun 40% jugak. Baru la belen…

p/s: Tiba masanya kita bertukar kpd enjin Hidrogen, tak payah la pakai petrol lagi. 

Hidup ini umpama roda yang bulat. Kadang2 kita dibawah, kadang2 kita di atas. Post ni bukan aku nak cita pasal roda, tapi sikap sesetengah manusia yang lupa diri bila terasa diri di atas, rasa diri dah bagus (bagus sgt ke?) dan rasa diri dia tu dah terkenal (terkenal sgt ke?) dan famous. Bila rasa diri tu dah jadi ikan paus, ikan2 bilis di sekeliling tiada gunanya, tolak je tepi. Baru start bisnes sendri, buat duit banyak sket, lupa diri.

Ye, memang, blog ni takda yg menarik, it’s just a personal blog ok! Sukati aku la nak buat ape ngan blog ni, hosting + domain aku yg bayar sendiri. Mcm la blog dia yg perasan bagus tu aku selalu jenguk and interesting sgt!

Well, that’s life, you just have to deal with these kind of people. The good news is, one less link in this blog. I don’t need your love link (as some people called it) anymore.
